EVault, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Seagate Technology, brings together leading online backup and recovery technology coupled with the management expertise of some of the industry's brightest talents. In late 2002, EVault introduced EVault InfoStage™, innovative disk-to-disk backup software designed specifically for companies with dedicated IT staff who prefer to manage their own backup and recovery processes. EVault InfoStage supports all the leading operating systems, backing up everything from laptop and desktop computers to midrange server platforms such as IBM System i (formerly iSeries and AS/400). In January 2007, EVault became a wholly-owned subsidiary of Seagate Technology.
