Richard Heitmann and Ellis Ishaya Named Vice Presidents

Emeryville, Calif. – May 1, 2006 – EVault, Inc., the leader in online data protection solutions, today announced the promotion of two key senior executives to support its sustained business growth and recent company expansion. Richard Heitmann has been appointed vice president of product marketing, and Ellis Ishaya has been named vice president of professional services – further strengthening the team behind EVault’s award-winning online data protection software and services.

In his new role as vice president of product marketing, Heitmann will continue driving the product management and marketing functions, assuring EVault delivers market-driven products and services. He is also responsible for setting overall product strategy, and bringing EVault’s data protection products and services to market. Heitmann has more than 15 years of experience in marketing, program management and engineering in the fields of enterprise software, security and data protection. He previously held positions with WatchGuard Technologies and Onyx Software.

As vice president of professional services, Ishaya will focus on expanding EVault’s consulting offerings – guiding businesses in the areas of backup implementations, training, business continuity planning and disaster recovery testing. Prior to joining EVault, Ishaya gained 14 years of experience leading professional services groups at ePeople, Primus and Imparto Software Corporation. He also spent several years at PricewaterhouseCoopers where he managed the west, pacific northwest and rocky mountain regions for its IAS consulting group.
