EVAULT ANNOUNCES NEW ADDITIONS TO EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT TEAM

Emeryville, Calif. – August 15, 2006 – EVault, Inc., the trusted experts in online data protection solutions, today announced the appointment of Dana Loof as vice president of marketing and Wendy Lukas as vice president of human resources.  Loof will oversee all aspects of marketing communications as the company continues to build upon its line of award-winning software and services.  Lukas will oversee human resource practices to support business goals and overall organizational effectiveness.

The new hires help round out EVault's executive management team as the company moves into its next phase of growth.  In the last twelve months, EVault's customer base has increased by approximately 60 percent and company headcount has grown by 30 percent.

Loof is responsible for driving all marketing efforts at EVault, including brand awareness, lead generation and sales support.  She has more than 15 years of marketing experience in a range of fields including data protection, database software and digital asset management.  Prior to joining EVault, she was senior director of global marketing communications at Symantec Corporation, and prior to the merger with Veritas Software in 2005, led Veritas' global marketing team in the storage software space.  Loof has also held marketing positions with the Bay Area's Digital Integrity, Smartage, ROI Direct and Oracle Corporation.  

She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in international marketing from San Francisco State University, and a Certificate from Sorbonne University in Paris.

Lukas brings more than 10 years of human resource expertise to EVault.  Previously, she served as an HR consultant for various organizations including JDS Uniphase, and held senior-level HR positions with Barra, Inc. and Cisco Systems.  Lukas gained much of her experience at Levi Strauss & Co., where she spent 15 years building her career in the areas of human resources and global education and development.

Lukas holds a bachelor's degree in English literature from the University of California, Berkeley.
