EVAULT INVESTS IN CHANNEL GROWTH STRATEGY WITH ADDITION TO EXECUTIVE MANAGEMENT TEAM

Emeryville, Calif. – March 21, 2007 – EVault, Inc., a Seagate Technology (NYSE:STX) company and the trusted expert in complete data protection solutions, today announced the appointment of Dave Ferretti as vice president of channel sales. Ferretti will be responsible for driving channel sales at EVault and the recruitment and management of value-added resellers, system integrators and referral partners. With more than 100 partners, EVault's channel partners have been instrumental in helping the company sustain profitable growth for twelve straight quarters. Ferretti's hiring will help the company continue growing the channel to increase vertical market, strategic and geographic coverage throughout North America.

Ferretti has more than 20 years of sales, business development and strategic marketing experience in a range of technology fields, including enterprise content and records management, business process automation, security and storage solutions. Prior to joining EVault, he was director of worldwide sales at Xerox Corporation. At Xerox he grew revenues for the enterprise content and records management software business on average 36 percent annually over the past five years, while consistently exceeding annual profit targets. He achieved a record 16 consecutive quarters of year-over-year growth, while expanding the customer base to more than 6,000 customers and the reseller channel to more than 90 partners. Ferretti has also held senior-level sales and business development positions with Netegrity (acquired by Computer Associates), Adobe Systems, IMR Alchemy (acquired by Captaris) and Array Technology Corporation (acquired by EMC).

Ferretti holds a bachelor of science degree in Business Administration and Information Systems from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
