Business Continuity Management Practice Director, Tonya T. York

Tonya York is a Certified Business Continuity Professional with 18 years experience in business continuity planning, disaster response, and recovery. Her experience covers major power failures, floods,

and stock exchange outages. Tonya was Vice President of Business Resumption Services for Charles Schwab, where her planning was tested during actual incidents, including the 1999 Chicago Board of Trade outage.

Tonya’s expertise includes comprehensive enterprise business continuity planning using state-of-the-art tools such as Strohl Systems LDRPS and SunGard Revolution.

Prior to joining Evault, she was Senior Consultant, Engagement Manager with Veritas/Symantec, where she helped build the business continuity management consulting practice and delivered services to Fortune 500 clients.

As Vice President, Customer Relationship Management with Caspian Group, Tonya helped develop a regional IT consulting business to over 120 consultants.

In her position as Senior Customer Support Manager with Comdisco, Tonya was responsible for North America Customer Service (offices in Canada). She provided direct customer support during the 1992 L.A. Riots, the 1993 World Trade Center Explosion, and the 1994 Northridge Earthquake.
