Thank you from freeing us from the pains of manual backups and human error.Patti Engineering has been using the EVault Protect service for more than two years with much success. Our projects generate a lot of data including CAD drawings, documentation, and source code. Prior to using EVault Protect, our project data was cumbersome to store and protect from disaster recovery, and managing the backups and taking them off-site was unreliable and an inefficient use of our time. Conducting data restores were also cumbersome because the data may not have been saved properly, and finding the right disk was difficult. We were in need of a change, and that desire to change drove us to find a reliable backup solution to better secure our data for ourselves and our customers. As a registered member of the Control and Information System Integrators Association (CSIA), we are guided to simplify and standardize the way that we do business. One of our recommended actions was to replace our manual backup method with an automated solution, so we chose EVault. EVault has given us the daily freedom of automating our backup process, which has also provided an easier method for recovering files. On several occasions we were able to save a significant amount of time by recovering files that were either deleted or overwritten incorrectly. In addition, my daily email notifications have been a great method of assurance that the backups have been completed.
